Event details

Get your costume on and meet us on the ice. We encourage new players to come out, it'll truly be a funspiel for all.
Sign up today—hurry hard!

Entry fee will include lots of fun, guaranteed 4 games (each game is four ends) plus finals, pizza and prizes. Did we mention lots of fun?
  • Date: October 20, 2023
  • Location: Huntington Hills Community Centre
  • Address: 520 78 Ave NW, Calgary, Alberta
  • Registration: 7:30 am 
  • Games start: 8:00 am
    • Bring your costume, brooms, sliders etc. (If you don't have equipment the rink supplies some)
  • Cost: 
    • AEA members: $345 (team fee) 
    • Non-members: $450 (team fee)
    • Corporate sheet sponsor: $445 (includes team entry fee)
    • Reservations will be held for paid entries only
Prizes will be awarded for best dressed costume(s)!

Funds go towards our local scholarships and bursaries. Additional prize donations are always appreciated.

No not at it is called a “fun” spiel for a reason.

We do have a Halloween theme and prizes for best dressed, BUT if that isn’t your thing, Slacks as they say in curling…or just comfy stretchy clothes.

-No they will supply a broom and sliders.  If you can borrow from a curling buddy please do so.  SHOES, if you can bring two pairs, one for the ice and one for outside.  Need to keep the ice clean.

We encourage everyone to become a member of the AEA, but you do not have to be a member to particpate in this event.  Bring friends and family.

Yes! Online payment instructions will be included in your event confirmation email.

We want you to attend, but life happens.  However we have to pre-order and pay per person for this event so 7 days cancellation we will give you refund - admin fee $25. past that I'm sorry try to find someone to fill in your spot.
