ABOUT STEPHANIE NIELSON

Certified speaker, trainer and professional coach, Stephanie Nielson strongly believes that it's her life’s purpose to “prepare the path for others.” Her philosophy is that if she can do it, so can you!

With little more than her can-do attitude and strong work ethic, she built a successful career in the corporate world as a Business Development Manager responsible for North America within a global company. This career path opened doors to study in the areas of sales and marketing, relationship development tactics, strategic planning and effective goal setting, among other disciplines.

Creating and spearheading Leadership Development Training calls, developing and delivering micro-learning podcasts on Sales Strategies and creating winning processes with the OPM team, she's seen as a motivational leader among her professional peers.

Stephanie uses her leadership training along with her personal and professional experience to help individuals and companies find their why, develop their messaging, strengthen their leadership skills and create strategies to meet their defined goals. With over 15 years’ experience working in the industrial sector, five being in the electrical industry, three as a Sales Director responsible for Canada, four working throughout North America and eight in manufacturing, Stephanie brings a plethora of practical experience to her speaking and training events.

In addition to her corporate career, Stephanie has recently created an online talk show called Victory Lap where she has real talk with real people about how they're maximizing their cruise control, powering up their pit-stops and celebrating their victories. The intent of this program is to provide a platform that highlights the really cool things that regular people are doing to get the most out of their lives and their impact on others.

WHAT IS THE AEA
WOMEN'S NETWORK?

As a member of the Alberta Electrical Alliance, you have the strength of an industry at your back. We work to advance the business and professional interests of our members — all of our members. It's no secret that women are underrepresented in skilled trades, including the electrical industry. But the women who have chosen our industry are powerful and inspiring. We need more of them.

That's why we created the AEA Women's Network. It's not just about connecting the women who are already working in the electrical industry (although we do that and it's a lot of fun), we're looking to send a message to any woman considering  joining our industry:
You are our future.
