Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to know how to play pool?
Not really, as long as one of you knows what you're doing. There are lots of people that know and are more than willing to help.
Is there really an 18-team limit?
Yes
Do I have to know how to play scotch doubles?
No, but here it is: Partners switch after every shot. If you sink a ball, your partner shoots next. If you don’t sink a ball, your partner shoots at your next turn. Again, it's a friendly group that will help if needed.
Do I need my own pool cue?
Bring it if you have it. They also have cues to use.
Do I have to be a member of the AEA to attend?
We encourage everyone to become a member of the AEA, but you don't have to be a member to participate in this event.
What is your cancellation policy?
You have 14 days for a 50% refund. After that, no refunds. Items etc. are purchased and reserved based on attendance numbers. You can always swap out person for person.
