The Alberta Electrical Alliance invites you to join us on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at U of C - Hunters Hub building for an evening of LEGO fun! 

Whether it's been a day or a decade, here's your opportunity to get your brick on with some local LEGO master builders! Come with your team, and your building hat on, because you'll be competing against your industry friends and foes for the coveted crown/lego trophy of AEA LEGO Master Builder (and some great prizes)!

You can be sure to be wowed by some of the builds that will be on display and you're welcome to bring your home builds to showcase as well.

**If you become a sponsor for $500 you will have your company logo made out of LEGO!! It will be displayed at the event & will be yours to take home afterwards!!**  limited time frame on this.

 

  • Date:   Thursday, May 16, 2024
  • Location:  U of C - Hunters Hub building (460 Campus Lane NW)
  • Parking: Arts Parkade $11 - Parking/walking instructions
  • Time:  5:30  pm -  9 :00 pm
  • DINNER: 5:30 pm - 6:15 pm Olive Garden don't be late.
  • Teams: Enter a team of 8 (smaller teams are also welcome and will be joined together on the day); Kids are welcome ($Free).
  • Cost: $50 Members | $65 non-members
  • Event Format: 
  • Challenge #1 - Secret for now - in time allotted (approx. 45 min)
  • Challenger #2 - Secret for now-  in time allotted (approx. 45 min)

  • A master builder to help your team
  • All the LEGO you'll need
  • OLIVE GARDEN Catered Meal

  • View ALL the Master Builders creations
  • A chance to showcase your LEGO creations from home

  • A chance to win the AEA's 2024 Lego Master-ish Builder trophy!

 

  • Sponsorship:  $500 Member   $550 Non member With Lego'ed Logo;  $300 Event Sponsor without Lego'ed Logo.

YES, this is why we are starting at 5:30pm. Don't be late or you may miss out on the bread sticks ....etc.

5 minute walk, you can do it.  Looks further on the map.

Sure bring your kids to see all the amazing brick creations already built and structures that are being built.  They can participate but it might get late on a school night.

We would love you to be a member but it is not required to attend this event. Learn more about AEA membership here >

Challenge #1 – Secret right now (approx. 45min)

Of course! We will just place you with a team.

Yes we are encouraging team building and of course banter back and forth…getting in the other teams minds.

YES if you sponsor we will get your logo created in BRICKS and display it at the event, AND you can take this home/office to display forever.  If you decide to sponsor days before this will not happen or chances are low, but we will still get one made for you and just print your logo day of if it can’t be created in time.  Sooner is better.

Our local Master Builders will be supplying all the Lego.  If you want you can bring your own however it it may get mixed in so you may lose it. We are taking donations.

There will be a person (Master Builder) assigned to each team to help, judge, mock etc.  They will also be displaying some of their amazing creations.  Bring yours as well.

Absolutely!! Show it off for sure.  We are giving everyone some time to look, admire…but don’t touch. We might give a prize away for Best or most creative!
